Get ios 6 on ipad 1

06/10/2012 · Im trying to upgrade my Ipad 1 to ios 6 and it keeps saying 5.1.1 is latest software, i have tried forcing an upgrade but nothing. then i read on the net that you can not get ios 6 for ipad 1. :( is it true ? if you can run ios 6 on ipad 1 how do you download it cos im having no luck ? :confused: thanks tony
